Folks, whatever else you may be doing, this worthwhile endeavor deserves your support.
I hear they have weather where YOU live, too, y'know?

I'm unsticking this one because there are already so many sticky threads in Basses that sticking it in effect hides it. Free bumps on this one for all interested - Sam's point is more than valid. |

Donations, to date, aren't really coming in that quickly for this project. We have bassists that need an upright, but not the donations to make it happen. Please take 5 minutes and visit www.katrinabasses.org
Thank you. |

Is there any way to get this thread posted somewhere more visible? Maybe even create a banner that can get mixed up with the rest of the ads? Has anyone asked Paul this kind of thing? At the least, it needs to be posted in the main homepage as a piece of news - but there's alot of regular junk that shows up there which would shove it down to the bottom. |

Does anyone have any connections? |

Thank you. | I can post a small banner on the DB Forums pages - I can come up with a very simple banner, but perhaps there's someone involved in this project with more graphical know-how who could come up with something for this purpose?

Agreed. When I saw RAYRAY's post, I was expecting something far more distasteful than what that ad actually said. My donation goes in this week, but since I'm not terribly wealthy, it will take a lot more than that to get someone a bass. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
