Keeter Betts

Curious if anyone knows the bass and setup that Keeter used?

I`ve heard that Mr. Betts played a Kay with Spiros. Others here will know more.

Seen him play with the Kay and hung out with him for about half hour. Nice man and great player.

Ike,did you notice what strings and pick-up were installed? He was an endorser of Super Sensitive Supremes (orchestral tuning).

I was at Kolstein's a couple of years ago and I played a bass there that I believe Barry told me was owned by Keter Betts. It was an older German or Czech bass and they were selling it for his family. I remember it as being loose feeling, nice sound, although the open E string was weak. Call Barry for more info.
