Ken Smith "Amati" basses

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried out Ken Smiths new Amati model basses? http://kensmithbasses.com/doublebasses/Amati/ I am considering either Ken Smith's Amati bass or a Wan Bendral as my next bass.
