King Double Basses

I know I'm posting this on a Saturday night while everybody else is out doing a gig, but I just gotta know. Does anybody out there know anything about the new King Basses? I am thinking about buying one, but don't know anything about them. I have narrowed my search down to either a King or a Hawkes. I have heard good things about the Hawkes, but know nothing about the Kings. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know alot about the King basses, but I will tell you my Hawkes is off the wall, and I recommend it highly.
