Lawrence Hurst [Indiana University bass professor] interview

Hi TalkBass folks,

I just put out an interview with Indiana University double bass professor Lawrence Hurst. This is a very informative and interesting interview (which former New World Symphony bassist John Grillo co-hosted with me), and I think that it will give bass players some real insight into one of the pillars of the double bass community.

You can check out the episode and listen by visiting the page for Contrabass Conversations Episode 20 - Interview with Lawrence Hurst.

We also included some music from the fantastic bass player DaXun Zhang on the episode. DaXun was a student of Mr. Hurst at IU, and he is currently the double bass professor at Northwestern University.
