Lemur Music Basses

Has anybody played Lemur Music's Laguna or Liberty Belle basses? Any thoughts on their build quality, sound, or playability?
The bass will be used in a strictly classical/orchestral setting.

I am looking at Lemur basses as well and I would also love to hear feedback on the Liberty Belle Bass or any of the others

Sorry, I don't have any first hand knowledge of the Laguna or Liberty Belle. I play a Sunrise Del Mar model (has been discontinued, and was a step above the Catalina.) The materials and workmanship are first rate. Jerry & Toni Buffa also provide customer service that is second to none.

I bought a Lemur Jupiter a few months ago and I totally love it. Quality, sound, and playability are all outstanding. The setup is perfect and they were great to work with.

I've had a Laguna for almost a decade now. Highly recommended. As far as playability, if you order a bass from them the luthier assigned to your initial setup will call you to discuss in as much detail as you want. Some "settling" may occur during shipping, but after my local luthier did a simple sound post adjustment it rocked my balls (in the literal sense). I'd put it up there with String Emporium's Wan Bernadels as far as value for the price.
