looking for a bass in the 2-3k range

Im looking for a Bass in the 2k-3k range. I would like something carved, but maybe a Hybrid. If you dont have one, please give me some Ideas of bass makers that have basses in that range.

It would need to be able to be shipped

No crap, kays, or Engelhard's. Already dealt with those. I need info for basses like Pöllman, Hoffman, and brands with those basses. or should I say "higher quality" brands.

Silly goose, not a pollman. Look at the newbie links. Lots of nice hybrids in your price range. Shen, Christopher, Strunal, Upton, Jim Laabs, etc. etc. Make sure you use the search tool too. Oh yeah the Paesolds aren't bad either. You won't find a Pollman in your price range. What's a Hoffman?

I thought we had settled this in the 496 page thread.
