My old teacher Linda McKnight lives in Midland Park NJ she is a great teacher. I know this is not that close to you but she might be the closest classical bass teacher to you. But if your looking for a teacher in Nyack my buddy is a great jazz bassist and probaly could teach her some basic technique.
