Looking to borrow / rent upright bass in Europe.

Hello friends,
Maybe someone could help me or at least point me in the right direction. I play in a rock trio (upright bass, guitar and drums) http://www.myspace.com/clintonvangemert
We are throwing around the idea of traveling to Europe this summer / fall and performing. I am fairly certain it would be easier to borrow or rent a bass than to try to fly mine over. Is this sort of thing possible? I am based in New York and have a couple basses to lend if anyone is looking to play here.

thanks,
Clinton
