Looking for good bass shops on the East Coast

I'm thinking about buying my first upright and I don't know of any good shops to start looking in, but I'd much rather shop in-store than online. If anyone knows of some good places in the mid-Atlantic region to start looking I would appreciate the info. Thanks!

i'll bet you're a stones' throw from the potomac river...rohrersville?
* buy domestic.
* there are several shops from Va. to Pa. and beyond..
* if you are local i can perhaps come up with a half beat,used,low end,student model.

Upton is in CT, a bit of a drive from you but well worth it. And you'll get a quality bass.
