hey im lookin to start out playing double bass along side the bass guitar i already play. i want to buy a double bass for about 500 quid so i know i wont get anything special but i was wondering if any one had any advice on what a good starter bass would be. also i need to practice quietly because there are young children neer by so is an electric double bass a worth while investment? thanks for any replies.
