| Louisiana Hayride Kay
I bought a 50's Kay from a music store off I-59 in Houston back in the early 80's. I really love the bass and I doesn't matter to me who owned it previously, but the dealer told me it was owned by one of the house bassists from the old La hayride. It has several distinguishing marks and although I have upgraded the instrument, I will say that it came with an ampeg microphone endpin. If anyone knows about musicians that played on the hayride, I would like to hear from you. Thanks, Mike aka songdog.
