luthiers in Denver

Hi, My husband Gary wants to sell his full upright bow back czech bass. Its old , not sure how old ,he always thought 100 yrs ,and he played it untill 1970 professionally. But he bought it from another musician on the road in the early 60's so has no idea of real age or value. We live in Colorado springs.
Thanks for any help
Susanne

Send a message via AIM to Kevin Hsieh
pulled this off of (ALL HAIL!) Bob Gollihurs (ahem...) site...

CO, Denver, Robert Ross, 720-201-1738, click to emailrobertross@rossdoublebass.com • click to visit luthier web siterossdoublebass.com
Maker • Restorer of Double Basses

he'd probably be able to appraise it
after the appraisal you could probably find a seller by posting in the classifieds on TB

best

+1 for Bob Ross. He does great work, and he also helps people sell their quality instruments. He won't make appraisals for insurance or anything like that, but he knows what instruments are worth in the Denver market, and he is well connected with the Denver bass scene. Paul Warburton would be another good resource in the Denver area.

Bob Ross is THE man.

Thank You all for the answers.
I will contact the Ross site.
Paul, Gary says he once knew you while he was playing in the 60's.
Gary Weber
Any way thanks a lot
