M. MARTORELLI BASSES? ANY INFO/INSIGHT?

Does anyone have any information/insight on basses made by M. Martorelli (argentina)? I went to grad school with an argentinian bassist who had one and I was very impressed. I tried surfing around and could find next to nothing on Martorelli.

I have, and am interested. I wish I could find out a little more about Martorelli and what kind of reputation his instruments hold up to, other than the one that I am familiar with. Just surfing around for some opinions. Ken, have you ever tried any of his basses?
