Meisel 7000A Double Bass

Anyone know much about this bass? The list for $1999 and street is about $1399. I have an older 90's Meisel that I really like (made under the Kessler name) but was wondering if anyone owns or has owned one of these DB's.

Not much info on the web regarding Meisels.

From what I've seen dealing Meisels, they have moved away from having a good middle-of-the-road model like yours. They now seem to deal in really nice instruments and real junk instruments with nothing in-between. If I were to suggest, steer clear..
