I'm moving this to the Basses forum.
"Feeler" thread are not accepted on the Classifieds.
"Feeler" and "PM with offer" threads

I can move it back on the Classifieds when it's ready for sale and the price is decided upon.

But you must fill out your profile as described here to be able to use the Classifieds:

Thanks in advance,

You need to do some research and find out what German/Czech workshop basses are selling for in your area. Talk with string shops and luthiers. I imagine Juzek basses are more common in the US than in Europe as they were made for export to the US. Chances are you will get more for it in a large city than a small town. I've seen Juzek basses marketed from $3500.00 to $13,000 in the US. I played one similar to yours in Boston, they are asking $8500.00. A friend of mine bought one in Cincinnati for $5000.00. A 60's Juzek sold in Chicago recently for ~$13,000.

If your bass sounds really good (at least compared to other Juzek type basses), is healthy and is set up well, you will get more for it than if the opposite is true.

Juzek Size

Is it a 3/4 or 5/8's size?

Roughly speaking and assuming it is fully carved, here in the Northeast part of the US:

5/8's are going for $2500-$4000
3/4's - $5000 - $8000
Master Series (violin corners) $10,000+

Depending on condition of course.

I love the picture of the back. Do you mind sending me a higher resolution of the back panel and maybe closer up? It's gorgeous
