| My first Lesson
I just had my first double bass lesson with a real teacher and I am ecstatic. It is so nice to really start to learn proper technique. Also, he thought my bass was very well made and plenty loud enough for most gigs even though its fairly small:
Body - endpin to neck block is 40.5"; string length is 39.5";Upper Bout is 18"; Lower Bout is 20.5".
He thinks it will serve me quite well for my formative years contrary to its size which is a relief considering I was felling sorry for myself about buying an undersized size bass.
