My new bass

Around Christmas time I purchased a plywood from Sam Ashe here in Atlanta. And it soon became clear that all it was good for was firewood. So, I went down to Emile Baran Music in Decatur/Atlanta and bought a solid-top for about a grand more than the Robelli. I've had this bass for about 2 1/2 months and I could not be more satisfied with my investment. Thanks to everyone here for their advice and encouragement.

She's a beauty! Sorry you had to go through a CCB to get there, but now that she's in the house, cherish her daily.

Congrats on your new bass! Man, you must be tall. The end pin looks like it's out about a foot and 1/2.

Congratulations.

Nice bass. I'm looking for a solid top, and am within a drive from Baran's. I have hesitated because of mixed reviews on the web. Do they have more like yours?

I'm not really sure. Papuna is a cool guy, if you tell him what you're looking for i'm sure he can get it for you. And he's real flexible with payment.

not really i'm about 5'11-6', but that's where the bass feels comfortable.
