And it soon became clear that all it was good for was firewood. So, I went down to Emile Baran Music in Decatur/Atlanta and bought a solid-top for about a grand more than the Robelli. I've had this bass for about 2 1/2 months and I could not be more satisfied with my investment. Thanks to everyone here for their advice and encouragement.
