Nee to rent a bass in DC

Anyone knows where to rent a bass for a gig in DC
I am playing at the Kennedy Center Aug 19 .
Need a good jazz double bass

Tom Wolf in the Plains, VA rents double basses for the DC area. I bought my bass from him and ida pleasure to deal with. Also a very interseting shop and worth the drive.

I can only agree! I was in DC in dec. 2007 and rented a bass from Tom! Great service!

I agree with these guys, go see Tom. It will take you a little time since The Plains is an hour west of D.C. Call him before you go. He also restores period keyboard instruments (harpsichords, etc.), so sometimes he is out making deliveries.
