Need a bass

HI everyone,I`ve been playing electric close to 10years and double just for 3yrs i just got to maryland AND I REALLY WILL LIKE TO MEET AND know double bass players around here so that to know where it is happening. I will also like to knw if i can get a used double bass to start with in this area. If u av a bass u no longer play or use due to any reason if still in good condition, i will really appreciate getting it

What part of Maryland are you in?

Also, what kind of playing are you interested in pursuing? Classical, jazz, psychobilly, folk, all of the above? This will not only be important in bass selection, but also in determining "where it's happening" musically speaking.
