Need help quick! Is this a Kay?

Is there a Kay expert out there who from these photos can confirm(or not) whether this is a Kay bass, and which model.Looks genuine to me but I may have missed something. The seller is not claiming it is a Kay BTW.The auction ends in 3.5 hours so I need to know
Thanks in advance
Iain

Looks more like an Englehardt Swingmaster. Could still be a good deal, though.

The tuners look right for a Kay. If it's truly 50 years old it's a Kay and not an Engelhardt. Looks like an S-9 -blonde with ebony fittings. From the little I know about UK bass pricing, I agree with reedo35 - 490 pounds is a good price whether Kay or Engelhardt. Of course, condition is everything and ebay pictures seldom tell the whole story. Are you a gambler and willing to take a 500 pound chance?

Whatever it is, it sure looks to be in really good shape from what's shown.

Thanks for your replies guys. The bass eventually went for £1570.00-too much for a bass I can't see!

Top of the line Kay = $2600USD = Well worth the price/gamble sight unseen . . . if that's what you were hoping it was . . .

Many folks on this side of the pond would be willing to pay more (jmho) . . .
