Need to identify my bass

I've got a very old upright that I have no idea who the builder is. The only thing I can see is a label inside that says, "Sansone" Musikal Instruments, New York, Los Angeles, Made in Germany. Can anyone help me or tell me where to look to find the builder? Thanks.

Read our lips:

No-one can give you an opinion on a bass that we cannot see!

If you want an opinion, you need to post lots of good photos of the bass from all angles and including closeups of FFs and things like that. Otherwise, how on earth is anyone going to be able to help you?

The label may is probably the dealer that first sold the bass. It doesn't tell much.
