Need student basses in Munich!

One of the high school orchestras I'm involved with is going to Munich, Prague and Vienna for a couple of weeks this summer. They've tried to rent basses but the sums are just astounding. If anyone over that has a couple of students basses (they need three) that they would be willing to rent for a reasonable sum, I could put you in touch with their conductor, Dr. Kip Mason (who is on the Board of the American String Teachers Ass'n). Obviously the basses would be VERY well cared for and appreciated.

Conversely, if anyone in Colorado has a flight case (or three) they are not using, and would mind letting it go for two weeks (again for a modest fee), then the kids could take their school basses with them.

Let me know. Thanks

Louis
