...just in case your info is out of date or something. But looking at that site, and seeing as they recommend Internet Explorer 3.0, I'd say there's a good chance he's gone under, or else the site hasn't been updated in 10 years. I have not dealt with them before so I cannot help any further there. But, you can always take the instrument to any reputable luthier/dealer in your area and they should be able to give you a rough appraisal, and maybe even make a reasonable offer for purchase. Whatever you do, DO NOT go to a pawn shop. You will get hosed for sure. When you have ascertained the value, stick with local listings (craigslist.org or your local paper) or, if you're willing to ship, by all means put it up for sale on the FS board here, or eBay. Make sure to take lots of pictures, in good light (outdoors is easiest). Make recordings of you playing it if at all possible.
I assume you have looked though the ff holes into the interior of the bass for a label?
