I'm not sure what it is, but I like it.
Smallish flatback at a slim 21lb. Restored, refinished, re-scrollgrafted, and not a label to let anybody know what it is? German is what the paperwork says, but it lacks outer linings, so I dunno.
As much as I really dug the old love and her ability to project a huge sound, gradually I tired of lugging a huge bass with a 43" string length to a gig where I was going to use an amp anyway. The other bass was beginning to hurt my knees, back and fingers with the tension. This bass has a great, even tone that just kills and I can play more of the stuff that I want to play. Sometimes it's good. Sometimes it's not so good, but that's not the point.
I really think that NOW I have my soulmate. Someone to grow old with.

KC Strings was the matchmaker again.
BTW, the old plywood Hag with the bandaged thigh is doing time in the corner. I still love her too, but what am I to do?
