New Standards in Michigan????

I believe I have sold my Kay Swingmaster, and now I'm in the market for a new bass. I've been eyeing the New Standards, either a Cleveland or La Scala, and have been bugging Arnold with questions.

If I can swing the drive to his NY shop, I'll do it. But I'm checking here to see if there are any New Standard owners near me who might let me check out their basses.

Thanks!

Cincinnatti.

Nnick Lloyd Basses sells them.

Much closer than NY, but still a hike.

It's worth the drive. Got my Shen Willow from Nnick. Well worth the drive.

Ben,
I have a 9:30 p.m. gig at Connor O'Neils downtown A2 on Saturday, Feb. 21. Maybe we can hook up prior? Or if you're playing out anywhere, I'd love to come hear. If I could just check out your Cleveland for a few minutes, it would save me a trip to Cincy or NY. Thanks!
Cal

The Connor O'Neils gig sounds fine. Let me know how early you might be in Ann Arbor.

Peace

Ben, the buyer of my Kay is shippng a trunk to the Greyhound station in Ann Arbor, much sooner than my gig. Can you PM me your phone number and I'll call you when I'm going to be in Ann Arbor? I'm assuming next Monday or Tuesday.
