Have fun! Oh, and the extention thing, I don't think that it's weird at all. I think thats how any instrument should feel. Because if it feels that way, you're not concentrating on playing the instrument so much as simply making music. You'll play your very best on instruments like that, and you'll love every second of it.

Horns always drowned out the other basses I played. It's safe to say it's a loud bass. It sounds very, very nice. |

| | | | wow. looks beautiful! I'm researching a lot of basses and trying to get upton bass myself too. Your fingerboard looks a little bit modified at the high register, is that a separate option or the feature? |

the "solo" fingerboard is standard on all upton basses. I recieved my hybrid in november and i could not be happier with it. It is an excellent "in between" bass before i go to college. It is starting to open up a bit more and i am very pleased with its tone. They are excellent basses for the price but you should try one out before you order one. You should also take a trip to some local bass shops and try out some other basses before you buy one. Its always fun to go on trips and try out new basses. Good luck! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
