Newly acquired Strunal 50/1

I'm really impressed with the sound of this ~$700 bass. It has a lot of volume, big round tone, and is pretty even across the fboard.

My local luthier said it is constructed pretty nicely. I was considering an Engelhardt for a knock around, but this was available. I'd have to recommend these.

I to have to say the Strunel I just got 5/20 upgraded finish hybrid it a great bass. Since setting it up it is exactly what I was looking for. I'm sure someday I will upgrade but for now this one will do what I needed it for. They are very nicely constructed.
