At this moment, I'm renting an Englehardt CS-1. I had the pleasure of playing a friend's Swingmaster, and was so impressed, I'm thinking of ordering one from Musician's Friend. Possibly a bad idea to "order" it? Thanks

If you are really convinced you want to order a Swingmaster online, do it from Bob & Mark Gollihur. See here: http://gollihurmusic.com/product/124...EG_9_BASS.html
Call them up, ask them questions, etc. Keep in mind you may have to spend extra money on setup after it arrives, but they can talk to you about that.
That said, it is MUCH better to buy local. |
