Padded shoulder strap for bass bag?

Not sure where to post this so Mods feel free to move if you want.

I'm looking for a replacement strap for my aging Mooradian bag. I've tried a couple laptop style straps and they seem to wear out pretty quickly. Obviously I'd like something pretty heavy duty - I don't want it to break on a stairway - and it should be comfortable as well. Any recomendations?

Tried Mooradian? They've moved from the Allston neighborhood in Boston to Readville in Boston. Their phone # is on this page: http://www.mooradian.com/Product_List.html

I'm not too crazy about the strap that came with the bag. The padding bunches up and becomes uncomfortable and the metal clips have bent up. It is about 10 years old though - I'm not sure what they are using now.

New and Improved

I think you will find their newer design much more friendly, durable and easy to use.

Wasn't on a moorodian bag, but it only took one broken strap and a top knocked askew 5 minutes before a gig for me to get the bass wheel religion.

Neotech makes a luggage strap, and their bass guitar strap is great for making heavy BG's feel less heavy IMO, so check 'em out.

I've seen golf bag straps adapted to fit bass cases. Definitely good padding for the shoulder there.
