Tone. Arco. Fundamentals an octave lower. The sheer physicality. My big four for the doghouse.

Let us all sing the same song together, forever, and ever.

That is interesting, I was thinking last night how movie scores have, and are changing. Movies with real musicians are so much more expressive than the ones that are produced these days... if you read viewers reviews, the scores are pretty low, and I don't even think they know why! for instance, in a so called horror movie, you would see a pretty dumb scene of some guy going to bed, which without the music, would be just a guy going to bed. but with the right music it makes you feel very anxious. Now these days, with the use of a lot more visual effects, the same mood is not accomplished. The music is not bad, in fact there is some modern stuff that is really cool. But most of it lack expression, and also a good composer. I mean someone that knows music! not a guy that can work loops together on his coimputer...

I'm not sure about the fundamentals being an octave lower - aren't they the same ....
