My son Kevin & I spent nearly 6 hours at Lemur Music today trying various combinations of strings for his orchestral upright (Wilfer 7/8 with extension). We, and the luthier working with us, Davis, went through 4 separate string changes before a final change to the set we purchased. While this was going on, Jeff (their lead luthier) was repairing and re-hairing one of Kevin's bows.
So major props to Jerry, Toni, and the staff at
Lemur Music. Customer service beyond compare, and excellent pricing too!
