 purchasing Shen 3/4 willow
I have recently fallen in love with the string bass and decided to buy one for myself. I know a music shop that is selling a gorgeous Shen 3/4 willow with a very warm, rich sound. Because I'm still new to buying basses, I would really appreciate some advice. What should I look for in the bass (it has been used) in terms of sound and condition, and what should price of a bass like this be?
I would much rather ask fellow bassists rather than a salesperson.
