I was wondering what kind of bass is he playing here, is it a regular db or a small one?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=OOfPx6N_WVs

sorry if i sound kinda dumb, but i just look at him and i cant figure out if he is tall or the bass is short or maybe he is not using the metal leg, or whatever it's name
thank you in advance

I didn't watch the full clip but from the small amount of the bass you can see, it appears to be a normal-sized DB. Probably 3/4 size (which is normal).

Yeah, only got a few seconds in, but looks normal to me. The bass, that is.

Looks like a 3/4 to me as well. To me, the guy doesn't seem especially tall in relation to the bass. Looks like the nut is about even with his eyebrows so that he has the height set pretty normally as well. Nothing unusual as far as I can see.

I wonder how many Tom Waits impersonators there are in Russia.

It's actually a band called "Billy's Band" and it started as a tribute band for Tom Waits.
But they have their own songs that combines russian folk music with jazz and blues.
They are really good, especially the singer who writes and compose all the songs.
Lyrically he is excellent, and his voice is a bit different when he sings originals.
The reason i asked the question is that i saw a DB that is smaller then the 3/4.
Someone told me that this size usually used on rockabilly for slap bass.
