Smile Questions about an Englehardt C1 bass.

Good evening,

First off, thank you for anybody who has taken the time to view this thread. I am new here and hope this is the right forum to post this in.

I currently own an Englehardt C1 concert upright bass. It is between 20-25 years old and has barely been played. Other than gathering dust, the only other negative action this bass has partaken in is being dropped accidentally once or twice leaving nothing but a slight ding or two (no major infractions). The strings on it are the original strings as far as I can tell, I also have it's bow and gig bag.

I can't find ANY information on an older C1 bass anywhere else I have looked. If anybody can give an input on an estimated price this bass might be worth, it would be much appreciated. Also, if there is any information I failed to provide that might be important in a price estimate, please let me know, thank you.

I would take it to a luthier to get a more exact number, but from what I've seen of listings for used plywood basses, you might be able to get $800 to a grand for it at the most if you're not in too much of a rush to be rid of it.
