Rauner Bass

Hello, I've been thinking of purchasing
a Rauner bass built around the 1930's
and it is going for about 2 grand. What
do you guys think, the bass has some damage
in the front but they're are willing to fix it,
for no extra charge. Can someone give me some
info. about the bass and what your opinion on it
is.

Its a music shop in Los Angeles. But i'm guessing
i'll bring it to world of strings to get it set up. It sounds
great, it is very jazzy, it has a very paul chambers, kind of
tone, I don't really know how to describe it, it has that tone
with D'Addario orchestral strings, so I think it will sound
great with spiros or EP's on it

There was more too. I'd be sure that any bass that needs repair is evaluated by a qualified luthier. I think you know this, just thought I'd say it again. Better to do it right the first time, than having to come back later to fix a mistake.
