My friend and his recently renovated five string Kay: He bought this bass for 300 dollars in 1965. Recent repairs and new strings and set up exceeded 600 dollars. It was made in 1940. It is interesting how the fretboard hangs over the edge of the neck? Though it is not for sale any idea what the going price for a Bass like this would be? It is in top playing condition.
