renting basses while on vacation

I'm going to Destin, Florida for a week. I'm not bringing my upright bass for several reasons, but I don't want to fall behind on my practice. Does anyone know of any shops near Destin that'll loan me an upright bass?

It's a vacation. Relax and come back to your bass refreshed.

I'm going to the OBX for a week this summer, and I'll be bringing my pandeiro to keep my hands loose and strong (I'm certainly no pandeiro master). Check out www.pandeiro.com if you haven't (I don't work for them or anything, I swear).

"It's a vacation. Relax and come back to your bass refreshed."

I'm fully aware of the fact that it's a vacation, as the topic the the thread clearly states. I'm doing it more for the joy of being able to see my family whom I don't get to see that often than for the relaxing part of it. I've got an important audition in the fall and like I said, I don't want to fall behind on my practice. So, please if anyone knows of a place near Destin that rents basses, I'd really appreciate it.

Plus, I don't know about you, but having the whole day free (for a whole week) to pick up my bass a LOT is what a vacation is all about.

I have one listed on rentabass and have had one person in your position rent for a couple days from me. Worked out well, he treated it with respect.
