Renting my bass

Hello. My name is Sam and I am a Chicago area bassist. I am 95% sure I am moving to China in about a month and I need to find something to do with my bass other than store it in my parents house for 1+ years.

I am looking for suggestions or bass players that would like to do a long term rental. Also, looking for recommendations as to what actions I could take or a shop in Chicago or NC or surrounding area that I can loan it to as a rental for a year or longer. If anyone has experience with this, please let me know!

It is a Kolstein "Amati" from 1999 that I bought from the Bass Violin Shop in Greensboro, NC. I love this bass - excellent for advancing student. I bought it right before graduate school. Great for jazz and classical.

Hey Sam,

If you are still in the States, I'd love to work out a deal to rent your bass. I've been watching the boards and strategizing how I'm going to purchase my 1st bass. Renting is ideal, but it is not easy to find available rentals in the immediate area. I live in Chapel Hill, but I’m more than willing to make a drive to meet you if need be.
