Schneider bass?

Anyone ever heard of this maker? I found one for sale locally that looks pretty nice, but I cant find anything about them on the web. The add says its a German bass, but I am not sure where it came from. Does anyone own one of these? How are they? PM me or leave a reply here.. thanks

I have no knowledge of these, but the seller lists a luthier who has worked on the bass. Contact that person. I'm sure you can get good info from him. Best.

I ended up going with a rental (Englehardt) instead to get some perspective on the instrument. I think that when I get a little more comfortable, I will be able to play a couple of basses and see what my prefferences are. Anyway, thanks for the reply, and have a happy new years.
