In search of Bill Bell's Ampeg Baby Bass

Looking for a 4 string 1960s Ampeg Baby Bass - 4 string originally owned by Bill Bell of Memphis, TN. I belive it was black with a lighter sunburst design. He had constructed a white wooden case for it because it traveled to jazz festivals sometimes. He sold it to an unnamed friend in the early-mid 1990s. I believe that he sold it because he was under financial duress. He loved his bass and didn't want to part with it. Bill Bell was my Dad and he died 2 months ago. Two days before he died, he asked that I try to find it and purchase it back. Because I play the bass, he had hoped to give it to me. I know that this request is abnormal, but if anyone knows a person in the Memphis area who possesses an Ampeg Baby bass of this description now or who has owned one in the past, please let me know. I am willing to persue any leads. Thank you.
