Shipping an upright?

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, or has already been covered a thousand times, I'm new here and didnt find it in the search feature- whats are the good options for shipping an upright from chicago to albuquerque? Anybody driving that direction soon with a big vehicle? If it were my gastank bass, Id just attach it to the roof of a passing train with big magnets:

My Upton made it across country (CT to CA) via FedEx Express. Both Upton (they made a special shipping container for my bass) and FedEx did a great job. Cost: around $345 for 2100+ miles.

Do a forum search for "greyhound" and you'll find tons of ideas and lessons learned.

We assume risks every time we pull out of the driveway.
