Smaller Bass

Does Edgar Meyer play on a small size bass, or does anyone know what size (and what make) his bass is? I'm just curious because it appears that way when i've seen him in concert or see photos of him.

That no talent Edgar

Edgar plays on a Giovanni Battista Gabrielli chamber or solo bass. Belly length 40". Very small Italian bass...Thanks to Elgar...Looking at the Double Bass. Solo tuning.
For some orchestral stuff, he uses a big 5 stringer...German or Bohemian.
