| I have no specific information about the bass you bought. To answer your question in general, if a bass has a "solid" top and back, then it does not necessarily follow that the top and/or back were hand carved/graduated. It also does not necessarily mean that the top was graduated at all, even if in a rudimentary fashion by a machine.
