Steve Swan

One of the LA orchestras I play with -- the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic -- was flown up to Monterey to play at a reception at the California Bar Association for the retiring State Supremem Court Chief Justice. (We even got to do "My Way" with Paul Anka! Good Lord...)

Anyway, Steve Swan was kind enough to arrange for two Sun basses for us - excellent Chinese basses and Steve went out of his way to make getting the basses easy for us.

I was able to spend time with Steve Sunday morning before flying out of SFO and see his shop -- which has a good array of Chinese, Paesold and vintage basses - including a small "blockless wonder" with a deep rich sound!

So, thank you, Steve!

Louis
