Strunal Hybrid vs Christopher ply

Hi all
I'm about to take the plunge and buy a bass from Thomann in Germany. My budget dictates that I can't spend more than €1200 on the bass itself (strings + setup extra of course). I've narrowed my choices down to a Strunal hybrid,

and a Christopher ply,

I'm planning on playing jazz and latin, so the fact that I'm only playing pizz in the medium term makes me think that the Christopher might be a better choice. But Strunals also seem to be good instruments in this price range, hence my dilemma. I'd love to hear from anyone who has any info or opinions that might help me make up my mind,

Thanks
