Teacher Recomendation/or direction

Hello Folks,

I am looking for a teacher in the Denver area. Paul Warburton was suggested to me, and I emailed him a few days ago, but I haven't heard back from him, so I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions. I used to play electric bass, but have no "formal" instruction. I am worried that as I teach myself that I am developing poor habits that I will regret later. Any suggestions are appreciated.

My only advice is no not give up on Paul too quickly. To study with a bassist of his statue is a rare treat!

I am not giving up on Paul (I don't even know if he accepts students), I am just impatient I guess. I play for at least an hour a day, and I am SURE that I am developing bad habits, as I am simply hacking away with no idea on proper technique. On the other hand, I did (re)learn some scales again...
