A thing of beauty... (my new bass!)

OK, I've finally (!!) got around to taking a few piccies of my new bass... (too busy playing it!)

It's a 3/4 Korean (Bogey?) solid back & front, lam sides. 42" scale. Love the colour, although the pics make it seem a bit lighter than it really is. Quite dark sounding, which I quite like. It's had a basic set up (thanks Matt!) which will get tweaked as I settle into a playing style (with guidance from my teacher, of course!).

Other than the Helicore Hybrids it has (I'd like to go to Thom' Weichs), I absolutely love it. I'd play it for hours if (i) I didn't have to go to work to pay it off & (ii) my fingers would last that long (sadly I think I can rectify the latter faster than the former!)

Congrats. Looks nice and big. I'm getting used to 42" scale and actually prefer it than the 41"-ish that I used to have.
