Thompson RM-100 construction quality

Have any of you experienced players out there taken a look at the quality of the construction of the Thompson RM-100's?

I just bought one, I'm extremely pleased with it. Though not a professional classical bassist, I have had experience with a wide variety of student models (and even a couple of decent pro models) over the years, and my Thompson is far better than any student instrument I've played.

IMO, YMMV, and all that.
