Smile Travel Bass

I have been using The Chadwick Folding Bass on the road for the past 4 months and have been very satisfied with its performance and portability. No overage charges on any domestic or international flights. In my opinion it is the best Travel Bass for the money. That being said I have decided to upgrade to an Upton Travel Bass. They made a fully carved Brescian model for me earlier this year and I love it. So I have decided to have them build the same bass as a hybrid travel bass. Going to be on the road alot next year and looking forward to having an excellent instrument with me.

Great news Brad! Upton is a wonderful company to deal with. I gotta get out and meet your new Brescian!

These are always fun basses to make, this one will be very much like the bass we made for Eric Revis.

i am also on the same boat

I am also trying to upgrade to an upton travel bass. Do you have it already? how do you like it compared to the chadwick?

Also does upton cosign your bass or is it like a trade in for an upgrade?

Thanks!
